Elías is Director of the Litigation and Arbitration and Compliance and Energy Efficiency areas. He advises and represents clients in litigation matters – especially in contentious -administrative and court matters- arising from the permitting and implementation of natural resource projects, mainly energy projects. He also directs and participates in the development of territorial strategies for the implementation of projects, aimed at preventing conflicts as well as managing legal and operational risks. Within the Compliance practice, he advises companies from different sectors on the development of regulatory compliance models in energy and climate change matters. This allows meeting the due diligence standard required by the new regulation on economic crime and managing sectoral regulatory risks through the implementation of new regulations and policies.
